It Is Finished...

FINALLY... the nursery is done! I want to add a few family photos, but for the most part it's all complete. I love it! Very rarely in life do you have a vision and a plan that actually comes to pass, so I'm really excited.
Any who, onward to one of the other top priorities in my life right now- you guessed it So You Think You Can Dance. I have to say, I judge you if you're not watching. It's THE best show on tv right now. Although, Dirty Sexy Money somehow made a mysterious appearance back on my DVR recordings this weekend. I haven't watched it yet, but a pick up from where they left off maybe? I don't know. Anyway, SYTYCD is in the middle of its best season yet. They've managed to locate and bring Travis & Wade back. Need I say more?
Well there's not much else happening with me. I had a beautiful baby shower last weekend, and I'm super excited about the one coming up! I'm ready to have this baby and a drink. Other than that- it's the same ol same ol! Until next time peeps...
It's just another day in the life.
Oh and just in case you haven't seen Chris Brown's wack apology for beating the daylights out of my BFF, here's the link.

Couldn't Be More Excited!

Do you see that?! We did the 4D ultrasound, and now I couldn't be more excited! I went back and forth and argued both sides of the case, and I just couldn't miss the opportunity to experience all the new technology in ultrasounds. Now I don't know how anyone could not do it! It's awesome :o) To get to see such a clear picture of her and see her moving around in real time in there is just amazing. She was very busy touching her toes, making fists, sticking out her tongue and smiling. With at least 6 weeks to go, I've already seen my baby girl smiling. This kid should be running the house very soon. I'm done. Ant's done. It's over before it starts. Ask, and she shall receive. It doesn't really matter that I can't sleep, my back hurts, I'm officially at least 30 degrees warmer than everyone I know and I'm spending money on breastpumps and nipple cream instead of frilly new bras. I'm gonna be a mom and that's all I can focus on! I'm not gonna lie, her nose is a little concerning, but I grew into mine. She'll grow into hers. She also has what looks like a full head of hair! So neat!!! Did I mention that sister friend is measuring almost a full month and a pound and a half ahead of schedule? Indeed, no newborn outfits needed; she's a big en'.

This was a surprisingly quiet 4th of July weekend, which I can appreciate as I get older. When you're really busy all the time, you start to really appreciate those brief weekends of solitude. It's also nice to be able to spend that time with a person you not only love but actually like. Ant's so good. He's getting so excited! I was telling someone the other day that apparently, I'm just the vessel holding this deal together. This is really Emerie and Ant's story. It's all about them. He talks all the time about all the things they'll do together and all the places they'll go. He sings to her at night even though he knows the words to (zero) this many songs. It's always Daddy/Daughter time at 3320.

So crazy times lately right? Micheal Jackson died. Steve McNair was killed. I mean what's happening here? End times maybe... I don't know, but it's definitely creepy. Hopefully this is it for a while, because seriously the first time I heard "Ben" after Micheal died- it was like taking a bullet in the chest. Not a good day. Other than all that there's not much going on with me. I'm pretty boring. Baby on the brain. Wait- I did see the second Transformers movie this weekend, and may I say "awful." Good God, I fell asleep in the last 30 minutes. I'm so glad Megan Fox is the hottest thing since sliced bread to every man because I thought she might have been drunk the whole time. She is a terrible actress, but seriously they did manage to cover all the bases. They got the tough guy, the made the hot girl as sexy as possible in every scene, they pegged the hero, the token black guy with the incredibly lame lines and the funny guy. All bases covered equals terrible movie. If you have a decent size tv and surround sound at home, just rent it.

Until next time, it's just another day in the life.
