Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Belated V-Day everyone! I hope all is well and that everyone had a great one. Thanks to my wonderful loving hubby I had a terrific v-day. I got out of the shower on Saturday morning and opened the door to my room only to find the Edible Arrangement I've been dying to have for almost a year! He really does listen to me when I watch commercials. Awww, he loves me. Then he made me a big breakfast, whisked me off for a prenatal massage, took me to run some errands and ended or day with a yummy dinner. I have to say, my husband is the greatest. I ended this most glorious weekend with Monday off. So I went to see He's Just Not That Into You...
Let me preface by saying: I did like and enjoy this film. However I have thoughts on the following:
More reasons to hate the no talent ass clown that is Scarlett Johansson
Jennifer Connelly is dangerously thin and kind of hard to look at for long periods of time
Ya'll know I love me some Jennifer Aniston but enough is enough
And last but not least, Drew Barrymore...
So Scarlett Johansson- YUCK. Not only does she play the home wrecking whore in this movie, but I just can't stand her and her borderline I'm just on the cusp of actually being talented self. YUCK. She wears me right out. That bleach blond hair, those big lips and eyes, and yeah I get I should like that she's curvy, but dress her properly and un-tuck her shirt. I've never been a fan of hers, but see this movie and you'll sign that petition too. She is disgust.
I like Jennifer Connolly I do, but WOW have you seen her lately? I noticed in this movie that they kept her well covered and rightly so. I'm sure if they had shown any trace of her body that we may have seen straight through to her clavicle or sternum or something. And I've always been a fan of the Brooke Shields and those that can go with a thicker eyebrow, but she may be crossing a line there. She kind of looks like she might bite. I'm a little scared of her I gotta say .
Okay it pains me, physically pains me to talk about one of my Friends cast mates, but Jenn I go to bat for her ALL the time and what does she pay me back with? More of the same old same old. Same old hair, same old inflection in her voice, same old lines on her face, just the same old same old. I need some kind of update, a makeover or just a new hair color or something. So much for reinventing yourself. I still feel like I'm looking at Rachel Green, which would be fine if I had the rest of the cast to go with it. I fear they're going to stop casting her if she doesn't do something different. Disappointed with this- disappointed.
Last but certainly not least- Drew. Sweet sweet Drew, who I generally love is also suffering from this rut. She's the exact same in every movie she plays in. I'm bored. She was frumpy, predictable and boring in this movie. She produced it, you'd think she would've gone for a more interesting character.
It's not all negative I assure you! It was a really good movie with a good cast and a good story. I wouldn't describe it as necessarily cute or funny, but just a good movie. Gennifer Goodwin is adorably stupid and Justin Long is just adorable in it. I liked it. A Monday afternoon well spent. I would definitely recommend that you see it.
Any who, I hope everyone is doing well. I hate to be the pointer outer of all things negative in a movie, but someone's gotta inform the people. Sooooo- I'm back on the scene updating the blog, answering texts, calling people back! It's like I've been resurrected or something. So give me a shout sometime. 1-4-3 ya'll!
I'm gonna let Ant have the computer now. Until next time, it's just another day in the life.
